Ingredients
- For the Salmon:
- 5 skinless salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons neutral oil (like canola or vegetable oil)
- For the Firecracker Sauce:
- 3/4 cup Asian sweet chili sauce (such as Mae Ploy)
- 3 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Asian chili sauce (like Sambal Oelek)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- Optional Peach Salsa:
- 2 large yellow peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup minced red onion
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Optional Salsa Preparation: Combine all salsa ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Prepare the Firecracker Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients.
- Season the Salmon: Mix the flour, garlic powder, ground ginger, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Pat salmon fillets dry, then dredge them in the mixture, pressing gently to coat.
