  • 5 packages (1 ounce each) corn chips (like Fritos or tortilla chip bags)
  • Toppings: Shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare Beef Mixture: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles (about 6–8 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add Seasoning & Simmer: Stir in the chili seasoning mix, pepper, diced tomatoes with green chiles, and beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer uncovered until the mixture thickens, about 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Assemble Walking Tacos: Open the bags of corn chips. Spoon the beef mixture into each bag and top with shredded cheddar, a dollop of sour cream, and green onions. Serve warm.
