- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, and eggs. Mix until well incorporated.
- Stir in the mushrooms, Swiss cheese, chopped bacon, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
